All you can eat chili. Fun bounce. Blue skies. Corn hole. Good friends. …need I say more? Didn’t think so.
The fraternities and sororities, on campus, organized a Chili Fest that was held yesterday in downtown Morgantown. All proceeds were donated to the Morgantown Bartlett House. Students and community members were encouraged to come out and support a local charity. (they ended up raising over $2,300!)
The temperature was a perfect mid 50s with the sun shining and clear blue skies. The crisp weather was just right for tasting chili and hanging out in the afternoon sun. There were so many different kinds of chili! A few I especially enjoyed included a sweet chili with tortilla chips and cheese, a really tasty chicken chili and, my favorite, a spicy beef and bean chili with shredded cheese and sour cream.
I’ll have to break out my crockpot soon and share one or two of my favorite chili recipes!
